It has been 16 years since the Anchor Restaurant and Bar opened adjacent to the beautiful Nelson Yacht Marina.
The setting of this quality restaurant is hard to beat for scenery and interest. There is outdoor seating for 50 and we can seat 120 diners inside.
It has been embraced by the people of Nelson and visitors alike - so much so that four years ago we added seating for another 40 diners!
You will find the atmosphere warm and friendly with a unique character. Enjoy real service and excellent food all at a sensible price.
Fresh, satisfying meals
At the Anchor Restaurant and Bar, all of our mains are priced and designed as complete meals without the necessity for additional extras. Wherever possible, we serve only the freshest locally caught fish and locally harvested produce.
We think that we are the best steak and seafood restaurant in Nelson, however you will find that our menu has something for everyone. Our menu offers fantastic vegetarian meals and gluten or lactose free options.
